Due to the feedback and success of the Rock fishing workshop, we have set the date for the next one and its all about Surfcasting and Drone Fishing. Tips, techniques, the unveiling of two brand new drones to the market and some crazy one night only in store specials available also. Our SwellPro FD1, SplashDrone 4, and last of the SPRY+ (now discontinued) drones will be there on the night too! These have just arrived, so order online or come see us in store from Tuesday afternoon.

Bullet Drone Fishing Winch
Demand has been overwhelming since the release of these winches, but we now have more available and will have them ready to go on the drone fishing night mentioned above.
The latest release from Bullet Fishing, the braid drone winch. The winch shown in this video has 1500m of 80lb Tasline Spectra braid, with room for a lot more. This winch replaces an electric reel, rod, and battery.
This is an all in one unit, weighing in at just 6.5kg with the line and battery, at a cost of $1500 NZD including a charger and 18.2ah 12v lithium battery.
Shimano Forcemasters Arrived!
Our long awaited Shimano Forcemaster 9000A reels have finially arrived! If you have one on order you will be receiving it shortly, if you haven't then get in quick as these are hard to come by at the moment. We also have a couple of Plays 4000 electrics available too, get in touch or order online if you want either of these.
Fishing With The New Alvey Range - Kingfish and Trevally
Alvey Australia has introduced a new range of rods and reels to their line up, here we try out the latest Alvey Orbiter OSR160 - the biggest in the new range boasting 16kg drag handles kingfish with ease. The smaller Orbiter SR100+ (SR200), which is the equivalent of a 4500 size, brings in huge trevally one after another effortlessly.
