Due to the immense pressures placed on the rod when fishing in deep water with electric reels, the Grandwave series has been constructed from the strongest materials available. By combining Heavy-Duty Graphite materials with a Glatech construction and X45 technology we have produced a blank that possesses massive hoop strength and durability, while eliminating twist and distortion under load.

The Grandwave is capable of fishing braided lines with up to 150lb breaking strain and boasts immense low-end lifting power to lift even the heaviest of fish from the depths.

The Grandwave delivers with a detachable Pac Bay Aluminium bent butt, heavy-duty Fuji guides with SiC inserts that been wrapped for added strength, and an ALPS swivel tip with roller to maintain direct contact with line at all times.
