Drone Sinker 3oz

The efficiency of drone fishing sinkers in holding in surf or strong currents has little to do with the weight of the sinker. It is the wires that gives the necessary grip to hold the gear in place. If a single three ounce one of these weights is not enough then simply add another sinker for twice the grip.

A single 8oz or 10oz breakout sinker does not give anywhere near the holding power of two of these three ounce weights. In really extreme conditions we increase the holding further by wrapping a rubber band over the bottom of the sinker.

The correct sinkers allow you to tension the link sufficient to cleary see and feel the bites even 500 metres offshore even in a 2 metre or more surf.

Keeping weight to a minimum is easy with these sinkers. Less weight allows for longer battery life, more sets per charge, bigger baits or more hooks!
